150 bed facility, recently established Hospitalist program. Specialty backup includes Cardiology, Neurology, Oncology & Pulmonology. Block schedule, 150+ days off annually, onsite admin support. 12-18 patients daily. The ER is staffed separately 24/7.

Responsible for primary care inpatients, coordination of care w/ primary care physicians & specialists, low volume ICU patient care.

$170-190k salary & bonuses + benefits.

Our community of 18k is located within 90 minutes of Jackson, Tupelo, Starkeville & Meridian, as well as Memphis, Tennessee. The Gulf Coast, Biloxi & New Orleans are all easy 3 hour commutes. Flexible scheduling, but strong preference for blocks of 4 or more days (or nights)

Day shifts covered by 2 physicians, nights covered by single physician on call.

Onsite administrative support. ER staffed separately 24/7.

Competitive compensation + paid malpractice + per diems + mileage + lodging.

MS #7024 

Solo Hospitalist seeking occasional 4 day weekend coverage while recruiting additional perm physician.

Average census 10-14 patients

24 hour shifts - 10 hours work, balance is call from within 20 minutes of hospital.

Any time worked over 10 hours paid at overtime rates.

Typical Hospitalist duties - admissions from ER and primary care physicians, inpatient care including low volume ICU and patient discharges.

Program is established and appreciated by medical and support staff.

@ 100 bed hospital located within 90 minutes of Hattiesburg and Jackson.

Requires Board Certification or Eligibility, recent inpatient experience and good communication skills.
