Growing group of 6 physicians seeking 7th.  The daily census ranges from 35-50, currently covered by 3 physicians during the day sand 1 at night, utilizing a flexible block schedule.
300 bed hospital, 23 bed ICU, 50K ER visits, great specialty backup 24/7.
Hospitalists handle a few ICU patients, specialty backup is readily available.
We're seeking a Board Certified Internist or recent graduate, with good communication skills, recent inpatient experience and a commitment to excellent patient care.  We do not qualify as a J1 waiver site.
Hospitalists are employed by the hospital with a competitive salary + signing bonus + relocation allowance + benefits.
Our community of 50,000 is located less than an hour from Columbia in a county of over 100,000.  Good public and private schools are available.  Local advanced education options include a technical school, 2 year affiliate program and a small college.  The University of South Carolina is less than an hour from our hospital.  Our four season climate is moderate with mild winters.  Dining, shopping and recreation opportunities are plentiful and varied.  Locals enjoy a short commute to the beach (less than 100 miles) or big cities (Charlotte, 2 hours or Atlanta, 3 hours).

Established 4 physician group seeking 5th to handle program growth.
150 bed hospital with 10 bed ICU, candidates should be comfortable with short term vent management.
Hospital employment, with base of $170K, 1st year potential of $221K + relocation and signing bonus.
Schedule: Day shifts are 7AM-5PM, night shifts are 5PM-7AM, Monday-Friday.  Weekends are 12 hour shifts, beginning at 7AM-7PM.  Each physician works 17 shifts monthly, @ 12 days & 5 nights.  Physicians may work addtional shifts for additional compensation.
Program census averages 30, ranges 22-38 last 12 months.
Double coverage days, single coverage nights.

300+ bed hospital with 65 local FP/IM physicians seeking (4) Hospitalists for new program. Service population of 250,000; 38,000 annual ER visits.

Our needs are currently covered by locum tenens physicians while we’re recruiting permanent candidates.

Our Hospitalists will initially provide inpatient care for patients (primarily from a local internal medicine group) as well as consults for local surgeons as needed.

Hospital enjoys excellent reputation in local and surrounding communities. We were named as one of the world’s top 20 “Great Workplaces” in 2008. The hospital has a new (2006) inpatient tower, new wound healing institute, OR suites and cath lab. 10 bed ICU, candidates should be comfortable with short term vent management.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 5PM, 9AM - 5PM, 5PM - 7AM.  Saturday - Sunday 7AM - 7PM (2), 7PM - 7AM.
Seeking coverage for 2 month minimum commitment.
